To register for a Mexican Electronic Invoice you will need to:


1) Have or create an Osmos account with Mexico selected as your country

2) Once the account is created you will have to navigate to Biz Setup / Biz Profile / Factura Electronica Mexico CFDI

3) Browse your computer for a file “Archivo.CER”, “Archivo.KEY”

4) Then enter your password (The one assigned with the SAT)

5) Select your “Regimen Fiscal”

6) When done click “Save” at the bottom of the screen and a message will tell you if files and password are ok

7) Go to Catalogs / Employees and edit or add the user(s) that will be allowed to generate “CFDI” by clicking on “Autorizar CFDI” and save.

8) Go to Setup / Custom Values / Invoice Number and add your consecutive invoice number. 

You will see a number and title “Folios Restantes”. That is the amount of folios you have available.

 

Now the only thing you are missing is purchase “folios” from Osmos. Contact us or send us an email and let us know how many “folios” you need. Each cost $1.50 pesos and they don’t expire. Minimum purchase of 50. You require a credit card or Paypal.
